Former Democratic Senatorial nominee Alvin Greene took some time off from his nonsensical presidential campaign to mount a bid for State House in a special election.
It didn’t go so well for the self-styled action hero.
The Democratic primary was held on February 15, 2011. It was won by candidate Kevin Johnson, who received 2,369 votes or about 65% of the total cast. Greene came in a distant fourth, receiving only 36 votes out of the 3,789 total cast. That’s less than 1%.
Seems that once people learned who Greene actually was, they didn’t have much interest in electing him to anything.
