Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani was once considered the front-runner for the 2008 presidential nomination and a favorite to take the general election as well.
Obviously, it didn’t work out. Giuliani lost because of his disasterous campaign’s strategy of half-way skipping New Hampshire and waiting until the Florida primary to seriously contest a state. By that time, the race had narrowed to a McCain-Romney-Huckabee battle and Senator John McCain had several strong gusts of wind behind his sails.
With all the problems this country has faced under the Obama administration and the deep distrust that 40%+ of the population seems to have for their president, you’d think there would be a huge line of highly electable challengers getting ready for 2012. But GOP heavyweights like Mitch Daniels, Haley Barbour and Mike Huckabee are taking a pass on the race, unelectable figures like Sarah Palin and Donald Trump have topped some recent polls… and don’t even get me started on the trainwreck that was the Newt Gingrich roll-out.
There is a clear opening here for someone with major national stature to step in and clean up this mess.
Enter Rudy Giuliani, who is in Australia this week on a speaking tour.
Earlier this month, Giuliani cracked open the door to a bid after a speech to a group of lawyers in Washington: “It’s too early and I want to see how it all develops. My major goal is to elect a Republican in 2012. If it turns out that I’m the best one to do that, I can probably be talked into doing it or convince myself to do it,” he said.
The former mayor has nearly 100% name recognition, something that few other potential candidates have and something that is very expensive to buy. Everybody knows Newt Gingrich and Sarah Palin — but it’s hard to imagine the Republican establishment sleeping comfortably with either of those figures at the top of the national ticket. Almost no one knows who Jon Huntsman is.
“I’ll probably decide that some point during the summer,” Giuliani told The Daily Telegraph yesterday when asked if he was still considering a presidential bid. “I don’t know the answer. I am thinking about it, thinking about all the relevant information you need to make a decision.”
Giuliani is not the perfect candidate. His multiple marriages and limited national experience are notable knocks against him. Some will attempt to dismiss his experience as mayor as insufficient preparation, just as they did in 2008. But it’s important to remember that New York City is not just any city, and in fact it has more than twice the population of the state of Arkansas. Bill Clinton and Mike Huckabee, both former Arkansas governors, were taken quite seriously when they sought the White House.
Don’t get me wrong, the former mayor wasn’t exactly a bad candidate in 2008, either. He just ran a really bad campaign.
A man once known by the nickname “America’s Mayor” after the September 11 attacks on New York, Giuliani is a fiscal conservative and social moderate who might be perfectly positioned to give Barack Obama a real run for his money next November.
If he can talk himself into running, that is.
This is for Mr. Giuliani. There is unfinished business is MD. That chemical harassment has turned into body parts. The chemicals are focused from the lungs to all parts or the body. Fro example “The heat chemical” can be sprayed and the whole room is hot. Focus on body parts, now my right leg is sprayed with “heat chemical”. a needle like chemical can be sprayed and it can attack the private parts, anywhere, finger tips, toes, any part of the body. A ball like can hit the wind out of you if it attacks the chest.
These people are very organized. The experiments are escalating and the networking is getting large. My car is sprayed on the street or thy will come in front of me and spray the street. I had speeding tickets. I went to silver Spring court house and thr harassers were spraying up at me from underneath. I checked it out and a cleaning man was standing nearby and a woman locked herself in and pretending to write.
I told the Judge Gary Crawford about what was happening and he can order it to be stopped plus95% of the people are thinkers in the box, so it will take longer to solve. he did not believe me and I told him that I am writing the …. about it. He had me turned in my license and ask me to go to see a psychiatrist. Think what he or she might say. I was thrown in twice in the mental asylum for talking about these chemicals. the last time a young Republican defender got me out. every TOM, Dick and Harry has these chemicals. These chemicals are dangerous. My cats died because they spray one for my cats. All night long 201 has been spraying my right leg and lower back plus my legs. he did that on Saturday and I could not walk, I was in pain and had to drag myself to a chair. The Police said I should not call them because there are no chemicals in here. The Washington SWAT TEAM came to see if the building had chemicals, there was no chemicals in this building structure but the tool went off as I approached them on the first floor. I had to rum out of my apartment because the tenants were spraying a lot. The report went in negative. I spoke to the person whose tools went off. I asked him if he was testing for chemicals and he said that he cannot talk me. But when the tool went off, he said ,’ I got a live one”. I told him that 201 is harassing now but he said he cannot go into any one’s apartment. I did mentioned that several people has access to these chemicals and a few people died because of these chemicals.
There are two for the heart, the “ball like chemical” which disabled me and one that races the heart. recently, there is another for the stomach, excruciating pain. This is besides the one for vomiting and another for diarrhea plus one across the bra line on the surface. Several for the eyes and about 40 for the vagina, five for uterus which makes me bleed. The needle like is intense and it causes a lot of pain, then I bleed, it does not show up in the pelvic exam. This is torture and mind boggling.
It first started off with general fumes as the ones in the Convention Center where 200 people had to evacuate, The Langley park post office where the source was never found because it was on the outside and thr fumes came in and lock it self to cause damage others. There was another incident from an Indian family where everyone was sick but no source was found again it is coming from outside.
These chemicals are powerful and dangerous. I had cramps on the sides of my body plus my whole leg and two legs at one time. Recently, the chemical cause excruciating pain that I could not move my left leg, then the other time it was my right leg, then both arms were in pain and I could not get up. Right now, a Police officer who came with another and threatened to throw my stuff in the street and take my cats away for being a trouble maker, is ganging up with Management for calling the Police and making false accusations about the chemicals.
These chemicals have disabled me and others. some of them have died and the others saw how they have abused me and would not talk. The Counselor here knows the truth but would not tell them because they refused to believe me and is always threatening to evict me.
I know who the leader is and the Motivator. I do not know who the experimenters and the authorities refused to listen to me. Even now, Homeland Security threatened to arrest me if O call them. I was in their building in Rockville with other people children, and women, a harasser was above spraying for more than two hours and the staff refused do anything concrete about it. I told them it seems to be one on the outside and another is upstairs. This was right under their noses and they refused to do a proper investigation.
These chemicals attack the respiratory system and lungs. The harassers are very skilful, they read up on all Police books(I read one ten years on vacation and they used the same tactics. spray the chemicals and then spray coffee or other odors over it)All authorities are covered so they know who they are and when they are under cover in the environment.
In order to get these chemicals, you have to do a “chemical bust”. The investigators have to be from out of the area. the tenants above me has all the chemicals. Today, both Carmen and the house keeper sprays until I feel very sick and is on pain. She has a young child and dog up there so anyone sees they will think she is only babysitting but it is s front for her to disable. Her son who should not be here because she lives with her daughter. The whole family is involved with this behavior and they have the Management eating out of their hands.
You need to break up the networking of this creator of chemicals. he is British and his mother died for nine days at laytonia drive. He has become a mad person. He is a terrorist and so are the others here. he is just like Bin laden, an only child and is an out of the box thinker. he has a large net working of people in the hospitals, in the mental asylum.
A camera will show how these people spray the chemicals. You need to get the leaders from this building and the others also. They call the outsiders to say when i am leaving and they spray in front of the parking lot plus the streets and now it is very intense. Now, he is focused on the vagina. you must get these people out of here and the others. Tonight he was spraying from above the floor so that the dog will not sense it but sporadically he aimed on the floor because it causes a lot pain.
This started before 911 in 1997 with general fumes. I came here and the harassers were already here with chemicals. You must break this up. This is a governmental building, do not let them take it over. We need new Management, not abusers and supporters of this crime
The harassers were able to get in all three court houses and no one is paying ATTENTION, THEY RATHER ABUSE ME INSTEAD OF INVESTIGATING WHAT IS GOING ON. In Rockville, (court house) this behavior has been going on for more than ten years. The honorable Claudius Vaughy smelled gas while i was telling about these toxic fumes that caused a stroke on my face. he said to get a lawyer when he should have alerted the Police and then take an action. he put the responsibility on me. Now, they are threatening me because I am telling them that they have discovered the pathway fro the lungs to all parts of the body.
Montgomery County has been harboring these terrorists for a long time. it is about 14 years and this man is quite successful in experiments and networking.
Please, take an action. I have written letters to all of you Republicans and Democrats. It is time you get together and stop this. he is spraying my arms. I have to stop.We are all Americans let us not support terrorism, we had enough of Bin Laden.

I disagree with that analysis (my credentials: At least as early as May 2007, I publicly predicted that Giuliani had no shot at the 2008 nomination and that McCain would be the nominee — at a time when many pundits were calling Giuliani the frontrunner and wondering when McCain would withdraw).
It wasn’t strategy that cost Giuliani, it was personality and reputation. He comes off as an untrustworthy grandstander. His reputation is one of connection to corruption as Mayor of New York (Bernard Kerik, the Ground Zero workers, et. al) and subsequently as a lobbyist (Hugo Chavez, et. al as clients), and as a guy who tries to get himself to the head of the parade to collect credit for every good happening and identification as one of the victims of every bad happening, but never, ever, ever responsibility for his own mistakes.
If Donald Trump had gone into direct government employment instead of just the corporate welfare collection racket, he’d have been Rudy Giuliani. That whole routine works for getting cheap publicity, but for most voters on a national level it’s “no sale.”
