All of the buzz these past few days regarding a possible 2012 presidential candidacy by former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, has apparently stirred former New York governor George Pataki from his long slumber, reports the Manchester Union Leader.
Pataki, who will turn 66 next month, said that he will make a decision about his own political future in the next several weeks.
“I’m not running now, “ Pataki said in Henniker, New Hampshire, “but we’ll see what happens over the course of the next month.”
Pataki, who chairs a group called No American Debt, an organization focusing on restoring fiscal sanity to the United States, said that he will make his decision when he returns to the Granite State next month to speak about the country’s $14.3 trillion national debt.
