A pair of strong Green Party candidates placed second in their respective 4-way state legislative races today. In Minnesota, Green Party national co-chair Farheen Hakeem topped a Republican and an Independence Party candidate to finish a distant second behind Democrat Jeff Hayden in the race for state senate district 61.
In Massachusetts, Green Party candidate Mark Miller was trailing Democrat Tricia Farley-Bouvier by about 100 votes, or a little over 1%, in the race for the 3rd Berkshire District state house seat.
