Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura was a guest on Larry King Now for the half-hour, talking about his new book and his general disgust with the two major parties. During the interview Ventura notes that he’s supporting and campaigning with Libertarian Gary Johnson, apparently even cutting an advertisement for the Johnson campaign.
When asked if he would ever consider running for President himself, Ventura gives Larry the same answer that Ross Perot gave in 1992. If a groundswell movement of volunteers would do the legwork to put Ventura on the ballot in all 50 states, and if he could poll at a level that would secure him a spot in the debates, Ventura says that he will strongly consider running in 2016.
