Former U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich, who is now working as a regular contributor on Fox News, is launching a short speaking tour, his office announced earlier today.
The short speaking tour will take the 16-year House veteran and two-time presidential candidate to Santa Barbara and Oakland, California, and Madison, Wisconsin, where he will talk about his years in Congress and discuss his views on the country’s future.
Kucinich’s speech this evening at the 12th Annual Frank K. Kelly Lecture on Humanity’s Future at Santa Barbara’s Lobero Theatre will be the former congressman’s first major address since leaving office. Entitled “Restoring Hope for America’s Future through Developing a Culture of Peace,” Kucinich’s lecture will address the root causes of violence in society and discuss the future of the peace movement.
The event, sponsored by the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, is free and open to the public.
