Libertarian candidate Chad Monnin is spending more than $100,000 of his own money in an effort to become the first Libertarian elected to the Ohio State House.
In this interview with MediaTrackers.org, Monnin tells his personal story, from his time in the U.S. Army to his co-founding of a wildly successful specialized staffing firm. In 2012, Monnin got his feet wet in the political world by working on the Newt Gingrich presidential campaign. He talks about his frustration with corporate money and corruption in politics.
“I’m open to the idea that I’m wrong on some issues and I don’t have all the answers,” Monnin tells the interviewer. “But I can tell you that going back and forth between the parties is not necessarily getting it done.”
