Consumer advocate and former presidential candidate Ralph Nader endorsed Howie Hawkins, the Green Party’s candidate for New York Governor, on September 14.
“When are we going to stop sending politicians to Albany and Washington who sweet talk us during the election period and then stick it to us on behalf of corporations and other commercial interests? It’s a matter of self-respect,” said Nader.
Hawkins is currently polling at 7% statewide and capturing 24% in the Syracuse area, his home turf.
